Built bewteen 1839 & 1844, the Mercy Convent which is now McAuley Place was a thriving community of nuns and a school in the heart of Naas until its closure and later dereliction.
Formed in 2000, Nás Ná Riogh Housing Association formed with the intention of bringing the site back to it's former glory and creating a safe inclusive community for older people to live.
Join local historian Paddy Behan on Wednesday 20th August at 3pm who will bring you on a journey of what our building and the wider Naas area were like in the mid 1800s.
